With over two decades of leadership experience spanning technology, government, business, and entertainment, Laide brings a unique blend of strategic business expertise and creative vision to the media industry. Before transitioning fully into filmmaking, she held senior leadership roles supporting major U.S. government organizations, including NASA and the U.S. Department of State.
Through Lady Laide Studios, she is committed to developing and producing compelling African stories with global appeal — reaching audiences through cinemas, streaming platforms, television, airlines, and digital platforms.
Laide is passionate about strengthening Africa’s creative economy through international collaboration, talent development, and sustainable opportunities for creative professionals. She is also a philanthropist and Co-Founder of The Master’s Touch, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women, children, and underserved families.
